The Milk Bank has a higher demand

for safe human milk than our current

supply of donations can provide.

Our donor milk feeds preterm and ill

babies in NICUs.

The Milk Bank holds Milk Drives to raise awareness of milk donation and the benefits of pasteurized donor human milk. Milk Drives allow potential donors to interact with The Milk Bank staff members and significantly increases the speed of the donor approval process.

What The Milk Bank Provides

• 2-3 trained staff members to complete donor screening and review completed paperwork

• All supplies needed for blood draws

• Bottled water and snacks

• Coolers and shipping materials for transporting milk to The Milk Bank

• Swag items for donors

We Ask You to Provide

• A meeting room and a smaller room for privacy

• 2-3 volunteers to help coordinate donors and help pack milk, etc

• 1-4 phlebotomists or RNs for blood draws

We will also create promotional materials that you can share on your social media sites.

We may also contact local media outlets!
