Nurturing You: Wellness for Bereaved Parents | Virtual group starting mid-April 2026 | No Cost to Participants

Join this 8-week, virtual, free-to-you program designed for bereaved parents. Develop a community with other parents who have experienced loss while learning Mind Body Medicine skills that can help you cope with stress.

Led by Christy Gauss, MSW, LSW of Ignite Wellbeing, this group will focus on the interactions between the mind and body and teach powerful skills for handling stress. This educational, supportive group is intended to help bereaved parents improve their self-care skills. Participants do not need to be a milk donor.

The group will meet virtually via Zoom for 8 weeks. By completing the form below, you are simply letting us know you’re interested – there is no commitment at this time. After you complete the interest form, you will be contacted by the group facilitator to share more about the group and answer any questions before you decide whether it’s the right fit for you. She will also connect with those who are interested to find a day and time that works best, including options for daytime or evening meetings, and whether the group meets for two hours once a week or one hour twice a week.

The Milk Bank is proud to offer this free-to-you wellness opportunity thanks to generous grant funding. This funding allows us to break down financial barriers, ensuring that bereaved parents can find healing, support, and connection within a compassionate community of those who truly understand.

Randolph County Missouri Virtual Milk Donor Drive
February 17 – March 3

Become a lifesaving milk donor and celebrate the opening of a new Milk Depot in Moberly, Missouri! Join our Virtual Milk Donor Drive to learn more about how pasteurized donor human milk acts not only as nutrition, but medicine for infants in the NICU. Discover how to become a milk donor and how quick and easy it is to drop off donations of frozen breast milk at our Milk Depot located at the Randolph County Health Department.

Every year, The Milk Bank must welcome more than 1,000 milk donors to ensure the needs of babies in the NICU are met. We encourage you to share this event with any moms you know in the area who may have some extra liquid gold to share. Together, we can save infant lives and improve health outcomes by providing access to safe human milk.
