You don’t have to wait until your vehicle registration is due to change your plate! You can start driving awareness for the lifesaving benefits of donor human milk now by adding this specialty license plate to your car, tuck, or motorcycle.

Head over to our license page webpage. The button at the top of the page will take you to the Indiana BMV page for all available specialty license plates.
Go to the Indiana BMV Specialty Plate Page
From the BMV specialty plate page, you will want to click the renew online link right above the blue button. On the next page, you’ll want to either log into your existing BMV account or create one if you don’t have an online account yet.
Once you’ve logged in, you’ll need to select the first link, renew license plates.
Find Your Vehicle Registration
When on the registration page, scroll down to see any vehicles you have registered. Find the vehicle you wish to have the Saving Infant Lives plate, and select the link Change My Plate.
You’ll then be on the choose a plate page. The first dropdown is where you can select whether you want to personalize your plate number. The second dropdown is where you select special organizations. Another dropdown will appear, from there select The Milk Bank. The Saving Infant Lives plate should then appear on your screen.
Two disclosure options will appear, the first is to allow the BMV to share your contact information with The Milk Bank. We’d love for you to select this option so you can stay connected with us throughout the year.
Once you select your disclosure option, a new amount due will populate below. This will take your vehicle registration cost and add in the fees for the specialty plate. $25 goes directly back to The Milk Bank, providing 15 feedings to critically ill babies in the NICU.
Finish Your Order
Select Click here to Add to Cart to proceed with your vehicle registration transaction. From the following screen, select the checkout link, found in the blue box on the right hand side.
And that’s it! Once you’ve completed the transaction, your new plate will be on its way to your mailbox. Once you receive it, share about it on social media and tag us @themilkbank to receive a special swag surprise form The Milk Bank.
