Navigating your NICU stay: NICU 101

Experiencing time in the NICU can be one of the most stressful times in a parents’ life. If you know you’ll spend time there, how can you prepare? What could you learn in advance that would make the experience even slightly easier? This session is geared toward parents experiencing high-risk pregnancies or families expecting a NICU stay as part of their birth experience.

NICU 101 explores what the NICU is like, including creating a schedule and what to bring, how to be your child’s best advocate, how to create a communication plan, and all the important ways parents can be involved in their baby’s care and medical team.

Thank you Aeroflow Breastpumps for sponsoring this important event!
