A family’s ability to pay should never affect the level of care they receive.
We envision a world where every baby has access to safe human milk
Providing safe donor milk to babies in need requires strict adherence to safety guidelines and protocols developed by the Human Milk Bank Association of North American (HMBANA). Hospitals pay a processing fee that helps offset the cost of these layers of safety.
For babies at home with a medical need for Pasteurized Donor Human Milk, The Milk Bank offers Tre’s Medical Relief Fund, a sliding scale medical relief fund to remove financial barriers.
Available to families in Indiana, Kentucky and Missouri. Complete intake form to receive milk & select “yes” on the financial assistance question.
Tre’s Story
In February of 2017 Olivia Cammack was three months pregnant with her son, Tre. She was also diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma – for the second time. After Tre’s birth, Olivia breastfed him for a few short weeks before beginning cancer treatment. Because Olivia knew how important an exclusive diet of human milk was for Tre, she reached out to The Milk Bank.
